We have been retained by our client in the agricultural/construction sector to find a new sales professional to scale their dealer/aftermarket business unit. They’re based in Stratford, and as an organization, they have a large growth mandate into 2030, which will be predominately through their OEM & Dealer customer base. For the past 60 years, they have been a supplier of industrial equipment for tractors, harvesters, combine harvesters, sprayers, excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, skid-steer loaders, and a whole host of other industrial equipment.
Dealer network expansion is critical to strategic growth through gaining new & building on existing OEM business through value-added product offering & dependable relationship building.
Your First Year Goals:
- New Dealers Gained – 30%
- Existing Dealer Retention – 30%
- New OEM customers – 10%
- Fan sales volumes – 30%
Your Primary Tasks:
- Manage existing dealer network in North/Southeast territory
- Evaluate new opportunities and grow dealer network within assigned territory
- Plan & schedule dealer visits (10-12 wk/yr travel)
- Support dealer network with sales strategies & marketing materials
- Establish contact with potential OEM customers within the territory
- Attend public facing functions as company representative (trade fairs, dealer info days, etc.)
- Field inquiries from external customers (dealers, end-users)
