Key Account Manager (OEM Sales Engineering)

We have been contractually retained by the leadership team at our client in Stratford, Ontario to identify someone with aspirations of leveraging their pure engineering / design expertise into business & commercial management. This role will manage their small to mid-size customer accounts and is positioned for future growth. As a company, they have a large growth mandate bleeding into 2025, which will be almost entirely through their OEM customer base.

For the past 60 years, our Client has been developing a vital industrial accessory for off-road mobile machinery. They are forecasting significant growth across their global OEM base of customers, which is the focus for this position.

The 1st year objectives that success will be measured against…

  1. Learn, Learn, & Learn…their existing customer base and understand their processes
  2. Build Relationships…get out of the office & meet people
  3. Document existing OEM customer product profile & map future growth opportunities
  4. Complete an evaluation of existing OEM customer satisfaction & collaborate on an action plan based on results
